It's Results Week!!!

Hey Guys,

How are we all? Enjoying what is left of the summer holiday? Time is going too quickly; I mean look it is August already, HOW?! As time is going quickly, for those doing A-Levels.. hmm timecheck.. sorry to spoil your holiday but its results week. *panics* Don't worry today I'll be talking through what to expect and what to do if things go wrong. If your not doing A-Levels I'm sorry, this will be a very boring post for you.
So your doing A-Levels; how are you feeling? Scared? Worried? Excited? Feeling a lil sick? Or all of the above? Well don't worry you aren't alone. There are thousands of kids feeling exactly the same way as you, including myself. In 4 days our lives will change forever; whether it be going to uni, getting an apprenticeship or working. You're gonna be thrown into the big odd world and you're gonna have to survive, how exciting.
For those going uni and have signed up through UCAS I have some words to reassure you. Firstly congratulations if you get the grades you need to get into your firm choice. If you get higher grades then you expected you can go into the adjusting stage where you can go for different universities with higher entry requirements and if they accept you congrats. If you don't get the grades you expect it's okay don't panic. If you get the grades for your insurance, well done it isn't going to be too bad. For those who got grades that they didn't expect, again don't panic. Call up your firm and insurance choices and ask them if you can still get in with your grades, as you never know they might accept you still because yes the deciding factor may be grades but it is also about you and your personal statement and how you put yourself across in interviews. If there is still no luck, relax, you will have to go into Clearing. Clearing is where you will see different universities. They will say a specific grade and you can choose where you go as long as you meet their entry requirements. On Thursday, just relax, do not panic and keep it cool. Things will work out, dont worry.
I wish you all good luck and for those next week getting their GCSEs good luck too.
Also apologises in advance I'm probably not gonna post on Thursday just because like you I'll be panicking. Good luck guys!
