Energetic Energy Balls





Hey Guys,

Energy balls or protein balls if you wish. As summer is coming soon we've got to get our bodies in the right shape. Though I know some of you may be lazy like me and don't want to work out or go on a diet so I'm gonna help you out. I've got your back don't you worry. 
To make these simple tasty snacks you just need a few ingredients. Now I know everyone's gonna be like but its got chocolate in it how can it be healthy. Well it's a healthy substitute for an unhealthy snack. 

All you need is:
-Cup of Oats
-2 tbsp of honey, depending on your preference 
-2 tbsp of Nutella/ peanut butter/ almond butter/ or any other spread
-1 tbsp of butter; but I prefer to add an extra spoon of my chosen spread 
-Chocolate chips/ Nuts; that are slightly crushed 
-1 tsp of vanilla essence 

So to make these taste lil snacks all you got to do is:
-First put your oats into a blender and mix them till they become a powder consistency. You don't want it to be too fine as you still want to have something to chew. 
-Then place that into a bowl and add your other ingredients.
-Use your hands to create any size balls. And you're done! YAY! 
I made about 7 out of the Nutella ones and they were amazing. 

It is as simple as that. They are super healthy, lower in calories and allows you to eat your favourite unhealthy spread without feeling guilty. To take it one step further you can add 30g of protein to this but if so, add an extra tablespoon of butter as you want everything to stick together so you can make them into tiny lil balls.
