Chasing the Sun

Hey Guys,

As you know I recently got back from Spain and during this time we stayed in Malaga. Malaga is a port city with many people just visiting to relax and soak in the sun. It is one of the world's oldest cities which you will be able to see in the structure of the walls especially the Alcazaba of Malaga. The Alcazaba of Malaga is the "palatial fortification" basically meaning a spacial palace like defence in order to keep the city safe and protected from war. Though Malaga is the Summer Capital of Spain it wasn't always called Malaga. It was founded as Malaka or well Malaha back in the day which is the Phoenician word for salt; this was because the fish here was salted near the harbour.
Malaga is a very small city which you can go around in a day to two days. I recommend using the city sightseeing tour bus as you can get on and off whenever you want and they have a commentary that will tell you the history of your exact location.

I will have a new post next Thursday for the next few weeks as I have many Summer posts this year.
